A PFC with a Unit Citation, a 417th Infantry Regiment Enlistedman Grouping is Acquired

PFC Robert J Callison served courageously in the HQ-Co, 1st Battalion, 417th Infantry Regiment, 76th Division. For his battalion's role in the Sauer River crossing at Luxembourg, they were awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. Callison served in all three of the 76th's campaigns across Europe and was discharged as a PFC in 1946. This uniform grouping came with his original ETO crafted dress trousers and his infantry piped overseas (garrison) cap. After hostilities ended, being a low point man he was transferred to the 4th Infantry Division displayed by the beautifully stitched "IVY" Division insignia on the jacket's left shoulder. This uniform is all original and hasn't been altered in 70 years!
