Lt Arthur J Frey Jr was a member of the Headquarters, 417th Infantry Regiment in the 76th Division. This uniform grouping came to me from an online auction with Frey's original privately engraved Bronze Star Medal. He continued his service after WWII and was discharged from the Army as a Major after the Korean War. This uniform represents his time in the Army immediately following Korea. The directly embroidered ribbon bars are a nice touch. Notice his BOS insignia showing that he went in to the transportation corps after serving in the 76th Division. This was fairly common for Infantry Battalion motor transportation officers to do following their original assignments.
